As I was putting on my glam for the day, reading and having my morning coffee,
my thoughts this morning were how difficult it is sometimes for us to be patient. We want so badly to reach that goal, and it's often challenging to be patient.
There are number of things I considered...
What if we did take that short cut....what lesson might we have missed and not learned?
What opportunities and relationships might have been missed along the way?
Sometimes we get so fixed on where we want to end...or the difficulties that the opportunities, rewards and experiences along the way can go unnoticed and missed.

I think we all want instantaneous gratification and nobody wants to work for it these days. Everyone wants the celebrity life but no one wants to sacrifice for it. Over night success takes 10 years of sacrifice. Professional Athletes dedicate years to master their skills and sacrificed everything to get to that level of success.

Maybe that's why people who never quit are called..Champions! I do believe that when you have to sacrifice to get something the reward is that much greater...Some of lifes greatest rewards are not material...They're experiences and moments...they're developments in your character that otherwise might not be there. Patience and Perserverance...when you arrive at the top and you can look back and be proud, and appreciate the work and experiences that brought you there.
